ACOUSTICAL CEILINGS

Acoustical Ceilings - our speciality! There are 3 main functions of a suspended ceiling; to enhance the working environment providing provide a clean, professional finish; to provide a structural base for suspended lights; and to cover and protect unsightly building services such as heating pipes, electrical conduits and ventilation ductwork while providing easy access for maintenance.

Suspended ceilings are not only decorative and functional but can provide acoustic and thermal insulation as well as improving sound quality in critical areas. Anderson Construction can lay out designs and install suspended ceilings in the form of concealed or exposed metal grid, with mineral fiber ceiling tiles or metal tray ceiling tiles.

All our ceilings are installed with the latest laser leveling techniques to ensure accurate installation.

METAL STUDS

Metal studs - our speciality! And they are becoming a fast-growing market for residential and commercial construction applications. They are straighter, stronger and more cost effective. They do not absorb or hold moisture and not effected by changes in temperature and humidity from season to season which cause wood studs lumber to expand and contract. They are immune to seasonal fluctuations. Metal studs do not warp therefore reducing costs.

Metal studs are fireproof and cannot be damaged by termites. Rising lumber prices have driven some builders to look for alternatives to wood framing. More than 14.3 million tons of end-of-life vehicles (virtually every car taken off the road) were recycled in 2003 - enough cars to circle the earth more than one and three-quarter times. Metal studs can reach spans far greater than traditional or engineered with one of the highest strength-to-weight ratios of any building material.

Anderson Construction can design and install demountable wall partitions with an internal finish to fit your needs. These systems are designed to satisfy the most demanding fire, thermal and acoustic performance requirements and, at the same time, be simple and quick to disassemble for changes. Wall specialties include: demountables, drywall, stretched acoustical fabric panels, folding/operable partitions. Clean rooms, hospital walls, marine walls, restaurant pre-panelized wall systems and modular systems structures.

ACOUSTICAL SOUND BAFFLES

Acoustical sound panels, mounted used in auditoriums and churches walls and ceilings, provide a significant reduction in noise and echo. They are decorative as well as functional.
